Try it out

Run a full sandbox verification in your browser, with no key and no code.

The playground runs a real sandbox verification end to end, in your browser, without an API key and without writing anything.

Use it to see what your users will see, and to watch what your backend would have received, before you build against it.

What it does

Configure and create a session. Pick a flow and the options you would send to POST /v1/sessions. The playground calls the API from its own server, so no key ever reaches the browser.

Run the verification. The hosted flow opens exactly as it would on your page, through the same web SDK you would embed. Photograph a document, take a selfie, reach a verdict.

See what happened. The browser events the SDK reported, next to what the server says. This is the difference the docs keep insisting on: the browser tells you what to render, the server tells you what is true.

What it is not

It is a sandbox, so nothing you do there produces a real verification, and none of it is billed.

It is also not a substitute for the webhook your own backend needs. The playground shows you the shape of an outcome; your integration still has to receive one, verify its signature and act on it once.

  • Quickstart: the same flow, wired into your own backend.
  • Web SDK: embedding the verification in your page.
